In the spirit of the many music and yoga events offered at Spiral, we are honored to host David Sye from the UK.

David is the founder of yogabeats.com and a self-described spiritual gangster. “Yogabeats™ has remained totally without rigid form or restrictions, experimental and spontaneous, just like jazz or any other free form art. Yogabeats™ combines classic mobile yoga postures with the latest rhythmic and ambient world music. This involves a slow warm up section, the 1st half of the practice is designed to soften up the human ego, without austerity or force, but primarily by allowing, and fun, and asking the body itself for permission to ‘let go,’ followed by a more intense second section, partner work and meditation.”

David’s unique and radical approach to yoga incorporates healing micro-moves and music helps drown out external and internal conflict. He has taught yoga in war zones, and been recognized for his efforts to transcend conflict through yoga.

The workshop theme is: 3 steps from Homo Sapien into Homo Spiritus. These next steps in our own human evolution will be taught and guided across 3 hours, which involves cognitive realisations, discussions, meditations, and more. Music will play a constant role throughout, but the goal is self elevation–an intentional result of this theme…

Katrina’s Swan Song Class with Live Music, Sat 4/10

Not all earth quaking is devastating. Sometimes its elevating! Like this Saturday night. We are stirring the Earth’s vibrations in the Highlands! The amazing Peter Vrazity and I are doing my last live music class at Spiral Yoga in the Highlands from 5:30-7. Peter is an accomplished musician, and is returning to the music forum after a much needed hiatus, but this time coupling it with his love of yoga. This is going to be amazing! The focus is on raising our own vibration to align with a bigger vibration. Lots of great music and asana to stir your soul and awaken your connection to the divine. Come play with us!
