This 20-hour training (Yoga Alliance approved, continuing education) taught by Laura Wade Jaster, eRYT, is designed for yoga teachers, counselors, and birth professionals wanting to learn how to support women in having vital, healthy pregnancies and empowered transitions into motherhood. Denver prenatal yoga teacher Laura Wade Jaster brings fifteen years of experience in yoga, Masters level training in psychology, and being a mother herself to this dynamic learning experience. The training will cover perinatal anatomy and physiology, discussion of medical and midwifery birth models, philosophy of yoga and Ayurveda as it relates to pregnancy and childbirth, specific tools and techniques to enhance childbirth, asanas and pranayama that build strength and comfort safely, class observation, practice teaching, and a wonderful opportunity to make your own inquiry into deepening your strength and self-awareness. NEW~Postnatal/Baby and Me Teacher Training

Are you interested in supporting women and babies postpartum as they navigate the journey of motherhood? This 10-hour Postnatal/Baby and Me Yoga Teacher Training is designed for yoga teachers, doulas, childbirth educators, counselors, mamas, and anyone wanting to deepen their understanding and practice of postnatal yoga. The training will include community building, pelvic health, how to test for diastasis and properly strengthen your core postpartum, asanas designed to relieve common postnatal discomforts, songs/movement/asana for baby, class observation, practice teaching, and class sequencing. Sara brings over 4 years of teaching experience, a background in counseling, her own experiences as a mother, and a passion to serve to this training. Postpartum Wellness

This is an ongoing group that meets every OTHER Monday evening. It is designed to support your well-being as you navigate the transitions of motherhood. This group offers therapeutic support and mindfulness based skills to enhance your journey in maintaining mental, emotional, and physical wellness during the postpartum time. Babies are welcome to attend!. Facilitated by Laura Wade Jaster, MA, ePRYT, and guest teacher Amanda Ogden, RN,BSN, IBCLC. Sept. 12th: Transitions. Join Amanda as she tends the transitions of early motherhood. other fall dates are: Sept. 26th, Oct. 10, Oct. 24, Nov. 7, Nov. 21, Dec. 5th, Dec. 19th. other topics TBA, but may be one of the following: Amanda-Infant Feeding class, transition from all milk to introducing solids. Birth Story Medicine

Please join us for an intimate, healing workshop with the intention to help you see your birth through a new lens with compassion and non-judgement, as well as a chance to connect and share support with other women who are walking similar paths. Toddler YOGA returns!

Toddler Yoga/Movement provides an excellent space for the entire family to bond and connect while simultaneously stretching, strengthening, and relaxing your body. Each class will include movement/asana, songs, games, and time to slow down and rest. By practicing yoga with your toddler(s) you are setting a foundation for and investing in their health and wellness. Yoga helps build strength, balance, and concentration while simultaneously stimulating their senses, providing social interaction, enhancing their self-esteem, and improving communication and stress management skills. This class is tailored for crawlers to age four. Parents/caregivers practice together with their toddler(s). Fridays, Sept 30th-Oct 21st, 11:00-11:45am. $40 for entire 4 week session (pre-registration required) or regular class prices for drop ins. Parents/caregivers with multiple children are encouraged to attend. Prices apply to one adult and one toddler. Additional toddlers are $5 per child. Non-mobile babies are welcome at no additional charge.

Calling all friends and students to have the last dance (or down dog) with me at Spiral this week…we are taking our floors, doors, love, and vision to a new place. We have just a few more classes, and on May 1st, our location changes. Sunday mornings (every other) we will have an All levels Flow class at Hearthstone Cohousing at 10:00am. 4700 W 37th Ave, near Sunflower Market. All other classes will be held at Studio Soma at 2540 W. 29th Ave. Call Laura at 720-334-7124 with any questions. All class packages eligible for these classes. We will open in our new location in the fall of 2011!
