Opening Your Chakras to the Essence of Fall A Seasonal Meditation Celebration

by Yoga Mama on Aug.31, 2009, under Community, Yoga, workshops

Opening Your Chakras

to the Essence of Fall

A Seasonal Meditation Celebration

Sunday October Eleventh: 2-4:30pm with Roseanna Frechette

As seasons change, so does our energetic awareness. With brisker days and crisper senses, we may find ourselves running busily about. But there is much to be gained by observing and honoring the practice of focused stillness at this time.

This session will begin with creative inquiry into the meaning of meditation as well as the dynamics of a changing season. We will mindfully share simple sitting awareness, group discussion including basic exploration into the chakra system of deep subtle energy, and chakra-opening hatha yoga practice — all as preparation for a 30-minute guided meditation to honor the flow of life force energy in this colorful season of fall.

Participants are encouraged to cultivate and/or customize their personal practice while tapping into a pure wellspring of collective vital energy.

Roseanna’s creative style for living came to a deeply present place when she found herself meditating with the seasons. Over the past ten years, she has helped a great many students honor whatever season they find themselves in as both a practical reality and a symbolic chance for meaningful transition.

Call: 720-334-7124 to reserve your space:

$25 prepaid registration; $30 at the door.
