Join Yoga Teacher Allison Benner and DJ Daybreaker this Saturday for fun grooves and joyful movement.  Spiral’s Allison Benner is a Certified Rolfer and teaches Hatha and Kundalini Yoga.  She loves helping her students connect to their inner selves with curiousity and fun.  DJ Daybreaker mixes ecstatic sounds to move the body, mind, and spirit.  All are welcome!

Stop Child Rape w/ Kate’s 1st Sunday AM Yoga Class

Our own dear, awakening, and socially conscious Kate Kissingford invites all to a monthly fundraiser yoga class called Love In Action; an effort to raise money to fight the child rape trade.  We need about 12 yoga practitioners to make a meaningful donation to this cause.  We know you care, PLEASE SHOW IT, and feel wonderful on so many levels.. NOTE: NEW TIME, 10:00 AM on Sunday, June 6, Spiral Yoga, 41st and Tejon, June 6th – and each 1st Sunday thereafter.

HEY ALL YOU FOODIES!  Filmmaker Doris Dörrie enlists the help of the charismatic Zen Master Edward Espe Brown, reknown cook and author of The Tassajara bread Book, to explain the guiding principles of Zen Buddhism as they apply to the preparation of food as well as life itself.  How To Cook Your Life teaches us to be attentive in our everyday dealings with the most mundane things and also open our eyes to one of the most beautiful occupations: cooking.”  6:00 – 8:30 PM, only $5.00 gets you in the door!!  Popcorn will be (mindfully) served.  Beth Sanchez to lead Dharma Discussion following the movie.
